I actually wrote a story about my first swinging experience (and brought it to a writing workshop. It was a hit!)
I am an unattached woman. I was 61 when I first posted a profile here (after more than 2 years of being separated from my husband who finally figured out he was gay after 35 years of marriage). I just wanted to have sex with straight men again before I died and I knew that chances of my finding my "perfect" mate, were slim and I wasn't willing to wait for that. Previously, I had only had sex with men I thought I was in love with. To tell you the truth, I was petrified! Most of my friends who knew what I was planning to do were afraid that I would meet some crazy psychopath who would murder me. Not me. I was afraid of being rejected after my clothes were off.
My experience was SO much better than I had expected. When I first posted my profile, I was amazed that I started getting dozens of e-mails. It was almost overwhelming. Some of them were plainly from men who were not at all interested in pleasing me, but only themselves. Those were easy to sort out. But out of the others, one or 2 stood out as being from someone very thoughtful. I ended up having my first sexual encounter 4 days after first posting my profile and getting his first e-mail. We spoke once on the phone before meeting at a neutral place and then coming back to my house. He was a gentleman and a gentle man. He treated me as if I were a virgin (which I sort of was, after all that time of not having sex). He was sweet and always checked with me if what he was doing was OK. I can not imagine having a better introduction to the lifestyle.
I have had many experiences since (and many other men), some good, some great and some not so great. But I will always be grateful to him for the sweet introduction to the lifestyle that he gave me. He took away my fear and gave me so much that had been missing in my life.

First off, I didn't ask the question so that I could get free sex stories, I asked the question so that I could get an idea of people's experiences, the good, the bad and the ugly. How they were feeling, what happened and the whole nine yards. I am still really new to this and interested in hearing from others that have been in my shoes. I am sorry that you took it that way. You don't have to tell names of people, but if you don't "kiss and tell" I respect that, you really shouldn't have even responded to my post, even if you were joking it kind of offends me what you wrote, that a newbie can reach out and instead of finding out intentions, or writing directly to me, you just throw out the question thinking it was a prank to get sex stories.
