Ideas for the new swing club?

We are opening up a new ( and it seems like only ) swing club in South Bay some time in November.
We are thinking about having themes for the rooms in our club. We would love to hear some ideas of what kind of themes couples on BC would like us to consider for our rooms.
All other ideas are welcome too!

a good theme room would be looking like your in space stars ,planets etc you get what i mean that would be soo cool while having so much sexy fun.having planets and stars surrounding you,with some kind of spacey music in the background.

Well, I see quite a lot of excellent ideas here. I think more than enough to get off to a great start! Maybe keep this list printed somewhere. Try a few things at a time.. see what works, what doesn't, and maybe ask for thoughts afterwards... feedback is your greatest tool.
P.S. The notation on your site states Fridays: Cpls & Single Fem and Saturdays: Cpls & Select Single Males. This reads to me as single females are not allowed on Saturday. Is this correct?

We would love to see an Asian or Zen motif in one of the rooms. Lots of RED and GOLD and some BLACK; silks, etc.

This is not going to be a clubbing experience. No dancing. This is going to be at a private residence and mainly a lounge-like atmosphere with background music.
I do like the name of the "Club Fling" but I would hate for people to think that it's a dance kind of a club.

Room themes are great... but get the music where the guests want it. If it's a dance club, say so and play the music loud.
If it's a place to meet people, make the music appropriate... keep it in the background so people can actually hold a conversation in the lounge area.
Keep the style as neutral as possible... some like Hip Hop, some like Country, Pop, Raggae, etc.
You'll drive away some audiences with overwhelming or dominant music. But then again, maybe it's about the music.
Just our thoughts...

Depends on where it is; an empty office building/ warehouse? I would like to see 'the boss' office' , with a big executive desk and office chairs. An elevator would be awesome; can think of a few ideas for that. Get a bunch of unused lockers, and make 'the locker room'; brings back some high school memories. ;)

I go along with what Amorouscouple said, at the legendary Edgewater, some of those promoting parties included some fun, very optional games. It was a blast!
Also, a hot tub is fun, and location means a lot.
All in all, I think this is a fabulous idea!!!

I thought we were not supposed to be promoting parties on here...Or is it dependant on who you are? WOW! Amazing!! Too bad the nice people on here do not get the same treatment as the favorites! I find this to be very sad!

The dark room idea is cool, only allowed in with a towel and to provide lockers for dark room guests in some sort of staging area.. Also to make B.C. members feel like this is thier place to come and enjoy. Maybe a mild side and a wild side.. Dance area w/ pole of course.. Hip Hop music is fine but, there needs to be some Blue's music too.. Just a thought.. : )

And I am very happy to hear that... so back to hotboo's query; is this not against guidelines? Respectully, I could easily associate your post to 'self promotion'.
By viewing the Clubs & Events page I draw inference that BC approves of those clubs also. What seperates your from theirs?
That all stated, what Kathy really really loved about our first journey to a lifestyle club was the chain link fence they had at Lush. She really got off watching the action 'through the fence'.

There is no vail. We are very much a BC approved club and will be working closer with BC than any other club ever has. So, how about some theme ideas now? :-)

Why not just come out and say that this club will be partially, or fully owned. and/or operated by BC ownership or a significant staff member?
Hell, you may even re-ignite that magical vibe once captured by the first BC Meet & Greets which were hosted by a very charismatic Spokes Couple.
I for one would fully endorse a BC owned or operated club. I think it would give BC and it's play house a very significant competitive advantage.
If it was any avg premium or standard member, this post would have already been deleted... So again, why the veil?

Well it wouldn't be the only club, since there is Tangerine's Dream in SJ already. You might want to consider a "dark room" (no light at all), which some find very sexy and erotic. Maybe a victorian theme room as well - very romantic. An orgy pile room with several beds worth of mattresses is always very useful too.
