why do people insist on putting up picture in Renaissance costumes? They are not sexy or flattering.

after being on this site for 2 years, i am still so surprised at how judgemental people can be! because not everyone is into the lifestyle, they come to a site where they can be accepted and respected. then some get dissed for the pictures they put up. and before you criticize, sluty2, true i don't post of pic however if i am asked, i will send a pic (sometimes!). i don't particularly care for the genital shots so i just move on to the next profile to view. it isn't up to me to judge what pics people want to post. people like what they like.
personally, i love those photos of timmeh in lacy red panties, but shadeed doesn't want others to see them.

Well aren't you just the standard setter! Not sexy? Really? And I suppose your opinion carries enough weight to make that statement real for everyone?
We all choose our photos for one reason or another... our pics are great when Elle's in them. (My opinion) A pic with me couldn't be sexy 'cause it's got me in it but we post it anyway.
So who cares?
I didn't realize people still had time and energy to be upset about another person's or couple's pictures.

Hi, We have no problem with any type dress. We love differant ideas, And others approach to how a photo idea comes together. Please, help the site , that has been good enough to allow us to post pics. Take the time to look at the quality of your post. Lighting, and composition. sure we are all amatures, but make the best of what you have. Photo's can't make a person look better, but a poor one can really detract. Love this site.

The renaissance pics i have seen have been hot the women have had their breasts basically popping out of their dresses personally i like it so not all of the people find it a turn off therefore people keep posting those pics.

Who are you to criticize what someone wears. I happen to think that the costumes and clothing from the renaissance period are fly on anyone who chooses to wear them. And by the way, I look fucking hot in one. Any guy that has seen me in a renaissance costume will definitely agree.

You complain about ren.faire pictures....then I respectfully disagree and offer a counter-point which was really meant in jest, and you paint me with the ridiculously narrow-minded "ALL SINGLE GUYS" brush.
Why open that can of worms? Have you met me? Ever been to my house, ever observed my behavior? Nope. you're grasping at straws and making some very flawed assumptions.
To everybody else reading this, our friend the original poster is exhibiting the very type of 'broad-brush', stereotypical thinking that ought to be purged from this lifestyle long before anybody has a discussion about what attire somebody is wearing in their profile pictures.
In hindsight, it's actually good we're all having this discussion, so that some who like to point fingers and stereotype others can reveal their true 'qualities' to the rest of the members of this site.
Just my .02, with an extra dollar thrown in for good measure. Jeez....

I usually enjoy the questions and topics on here but come on!!... This is completely uncalled for to put somebody down for something they enjoy. It's hard enough to live a lifestyle that is not acceptable to most people. We should treat each other with respect and get a long to have fun in here. I understand your entitled to your own opinion but you don't need to express it this way and put down these member who have a right to put these pictures up. I agree with sexy secret =P If you don't like what you see in a profile then move on.
I think Renaissance costumes can be sexy!!
