Saw them yesterday at Shoreline...it was a toss-up between Heart and Journey as to who sounded best...they were both terrific. Journeys new singer sounds so much like Steve Perry (even when he's talking!) that it's almost creepy. Nancy Wilson of Heart is an undeniably great singer...plus it doesn't hurt that the band itself is a tight, well-oiled machine.
Cheap Trick put in a solid , workmanlike performance....not their best but still good. They are an incredibly underrated and influential band.
Best show of the year of the many concerts I've seen since January...you can't go wrong with a bill like this...was like a greatest hit's concert from three of the best bands of their era.

Should be a good show, they played Concord Pavilion with Heart and Cheap Trick. That's a great bill.....

Journey is playing??? i didn't know that. My cousin saw Arnel Pineda in the Philippines. I think he is awesome.
