My wife and I have difficulty meeting the "right" couple for a long time now. It seems that for 4 people to be on the same page at the same time is extremely tricky. Finding that elusive woman to be part of a FMF is also virtually impossible. So.....we are exploring the idea of MFM play. This is a great topic. As a sm that has been in a few friendship/relationships with couples... It has been very gratifying. First I find it most rewarding when a friendship begins to develop. We haven’t tried it yet. Although we often fantasize role-playing various MMF scenes: DP, bookending my GF and finally with me as the cuckold. Problem is I’m naturally dominant and have trouble letting go at times. The idea of watching and helping her getting fucked is pretty hot. This is the male half writing here and personally, I am invited to come do sensual erotic massage for wives and girlfriends fairly regularly. We have done numerous MFM threesomes and we love them! We have a small number of guys that we have known for many years, all tested, and we know they will be respectful, polite, and perform well, so we tend to stick with this core group so we know it will work well each time. For me it is a huge turn-on to watch my girl getting nicely done by another guy. I also love seeing her really enjoy herself. We have done a smaller number of FMF threesomes, which are indeed very hard to put together. I find that the MFM formula actually works much better, since it is somewhat difficult for one guy to satisfy two women. However to the extend your girl is bi and wants that experience, you should try to set that up for her.

We prefer a 3some but as stated, finding the ever elusive single female is near impossible. Don't misunderstand, we also love sharing in 4somes or more-somes too. We do enjoy MFM a lot and indulge from time to time. Playing in the Lifestyle isn't our priority and we have other things to do in life, but when we play we thoroughly enjoy MFM.
My personal belief is that it's a very natural sexual act... many ancient societies and some lingering on today, consider 3somes a normal sex act. Some societies have believed that it was an honor to share your wife with a visitor... certainly had to be an honor for the visitor. I think I'd have been a wandering visitor in those days.
I'm always involved with her when there's another man with us... I don't get a lot from kicking back and watching, I prefer that she's entertained completely by both of us.
I enjoy the excitement she gets from 3somes and from being able to open up sexually with someone else. Fortunately she feels the same way about me with another woman, but the opportunities for FMF just aren't very plentiful.
